We are excited to share free teacher resources that support active engagement and exploration. Based on our combined education and experience, we have developed student experiences centered on literacy themes and concepts that take students on learning journeys. These journeys are in the form of quests that lead students to investigate multimedia resources, complete tasks, and create artifacts.
Each quest is supported by a multimedia text set. These text sets provide teachers and students with a variety of themed resources that can be used outside the quests provided on this site. They offer opportunities for students to read both wide and deep on related topics and offer support related to academic vocabulary, modality choice, schema development, and student engagement. Additionally, they can provide scaffolds for differentiation, reading, research, and writing. We highly encourage you to check out each text set resource available as part of our quest-based learning resources.
Our first resource is centered on Dr. Seuss which can be found in the drop down menu of this page. However, we intend to offer additional resources, including chapter books and young adult novels, in order to provide students across grade levels opportunities to join a noble quest.
Keep checking back, as we will offer new resources each month.
